THE GREEN PLAN

The green plan was created to target and reduce Multi-Action’s impact on the environment. It is based on practical and applicable measures within the company. This plan was developed around four main elements : Clientele, Transportation, Production and Employees.

Customers
We encourage our customers to share their preoccupations relating to our products’ environmental performance and we strive to support them in their search for environmentally acceptable solutions.

• We favour e-mail for communications such as proof approvals and billing.
• Our e-mail signatures contain the mention « Print only if necessary ».
• We offer products that are less harmful to the environment such as PET and natural backing.

Transportation
Our goal is to optimize transportation management and reduce its impact on the environment.  This involves:

• Using local products to reduce transportation
• Using videoconferencing and telephone conferencing with our customers and suppliers, when possible, to avoid useless travel

Production
We strive for excellency in environmental matters. We are therefore determined to develop, to think, and to manage our production activities so as to adequately manage and maximize recycling of waste.

• We favour energy-efficient systems
• We contribute to the development of best practices in the industry where recycling is concerned : bins and containers are installed to that effect. We also recover production ends to make them usable for our customers.
• We recycle the products used by the technical department.
• We use water-based inks and printing plates.
• We recycle digital printing cartridges, boxes and other recyclable materials.
• We use energy-efficient lighting.
• We use ION equipment that eliminates dust particles
• We strive to reduce overpackaging.
• We analyze the inks used in production.

Employee commitment
Reaching our environmental goals requires everyone’s participation. The employees of each of our departments must contribute to our objectives and plans.

• Personnel training about environmentally-friendly solutions and practices to reduce waste
• Use of organic cleaning products
• Avoid use of styrofoam cups
• Printing all our stationery on recycled paper
• Printing on both sides of pages for documents destined for internal use
• Recycling bins located at every desk
• Promote car pooling among employees
